Italian recipe for authentic basil pesto recipe

Ciao friend!

It may be September but my basil is still going pretty strong. How about you? If you're wondering what to do with your basil, making pesto is a really great option.

I recently did a video on YouTube and a written post on how to make a classic Genovese pesto. I hope you enjoy it. I also provide a bunch of tips so it comes out divine!

A great way to use your pesto is on toast, pizza, or with pasta. For any leftover pesto, make sure to freeze it in some ice cube trays for later.

One big tip however for anyone not familiar with pesto - use it sparingly. It's very concentrated. Meaning don't eat it by the spoonful despite it being THAT good - you may end up with a tummy ache like my awesome husband did.... what can I say... I warned him...

Enjoy!

Grazie e ciao!

Liz
